Pandemic safety precautions

Safety first

As you may know, we had initially planned to get married in May of 2021. However, due to the pandemic we made the difficult decision to postpone the until 2022. We recognize that we're living in a world where the pandemic is a reality, and we're doing our best to keep our friends, family, and loved ones safe.

If you feel uneasy or unsafe attending a wedding right now...

...it's absolutely okay if you choose not to come!

First and foremost - please know that you've got our full love and support if you decide not to come. This event is a celebration of our love and care for each other and for you, and your safety and happiness is important to us. If you choose not to attend, we won't be offended, we won't ever hang it over your head, and there will be no hard feelings. We look forward to spending time together again soon when things are a bit safer for all of us.

Covid Vaccination requried

As a part of our commitment to keeping our friends, family, and loved ones safe, we require all guests to be fully vaccinated if they are attending. We realize that some of our loved ones who may be attending are immunocompromised or elderly. This precaution is about keeping them safe as much as it is ourselves and you. As above, if you've chosen not to get vaccinated for personal reasons, we understand, but please RSVP no to the event.

If you're not yet vaccinated, and you're planning to attend, please plan accordingly. Vaccination takes at least 2 doses, over the span of several weeks. For those of you living in the US, you can find information on scheduling a vaccine at vaccines.gov.

About the guest list

We've also made the difficult decision to limit the size of the guest list for our event. If you've found your way to this page, it's likely that we sent you a Save the Date or a wedding invite. As we get nearer to April of 2022, we will continue to monitor pandemic numbers.

Hopefully things get better, but if for some reason things get worse, we may be forced to trim our guest list, or once again need to postpone the event. We will do our absolute best to keep you appraised of the situation via email, and will try not to make any changes to our plans within 30 days of the event.

If you already got a Save the Date and you know you're not planning on coming, please let us know ASAP - it will help make room for some other loved ones who we haven't yet invited due to a limited guest list. Thank you!

(And hey - keep your fingers crossed for us, will you? 🤞)
